Some businesses start with a business plan. This one started with a white limousine and a belief that getting somewhere should feel like something.

Robert Beutel founded ALLSTAR in October 1994 with a single vehicle in the Detroit suburbs. There was no grand strategy, no investor deck, no five-year projection. There was a car, a chauffeur, and a conviction that the experience of being driven somewhere — really driven, by someone who took pride in the details — was worth doing properly. The early clients were couples getting married, teenagers heading to prom, and families marking the occasions that don’t come around twice. What Robert understood early — and what has never left the company — is that the clients who trust you with their most important moments are trusting you with something that can’t be given back if you get it wrong. What they all wanted was the same thing: to hand the whole evening over to someone they trusted and be completely present for it. That turned out to be rarer than it should have been.

By 1997, a sedan and a second limousine had joined the fleet, and with them came a different kind of client. Corporate Detroit was moving fast, and the people at the center of it needed ground transportation that held the same standard as everything else in their day. Our company grew into that world naturally, because the underlying expectation was never that different. Whether it’s a morning flight or a wedding night, the client wants the same thing: be there, get it right, and make the whole thing feel effortless.

The company became ALLSTAR Chauffeured Services in 2002. The name changed to reflect what the operation had become. Everything else stayed exactly the same.

Thirty years later, ALLSTAR still operates out of Metro Detroit and still carries the same conviction Robert started with. The occasions have multiplied. The cities number in the hundreds. Now the fleet covers everything from a quiet sedan for one to a motor coach for fifty. But the white limousine is still there in spirit — the original idea that every trip, however ordinary it might look on a reservation sheet, deserves a chauffeur who shows up as it matters, because it does.

Our team operates 24 hours a day, every day of the year, across Metro Detroit and more than 550 cities worldwide. Bookings can be made as soon as availability allows — often within an hour for local service. For airport transfers, every flight is monitored in real time so the chauffeur is ready when the aircraft lands, not when the original schedule said it would.

At DTW and most airports, your chauffeur meets you at baggage claim with a name sign. Domestic and international arrivals receive a 60-minute complimentary grace period from gate arrival. For private aviation at YIP, DET, and PTK, our chauffeur is positioned at the FBO upon the aircraft’s arrival. Contact details are sent in advance, and if anything changes, dispatch is reachable immediately.
